So there I was moving into a new home and had just recently survived persistent brown outs resulting from recent hurricane damage. I decided to look into purchasing a standby home generator to keep the lights on and most importantly the AC when the next storm hit. I had a friend of a friend who is a certified electrician offer the “Deal” of the Century that I couldn’t pass up. I took the deal and almost blew up my house for saving a few bucks with a terribly wrong installation. Actually if the power had gone out it seems I would be feeding my power company with electricity instead of powering my own home. After almost a year of procrastinating / contemplating what I had gotten myself into and hoping and praying that the power wouldn’t go off I decided to call in some help. I looked online and found a Guardian Preferred service / installer Fish Electric to see if they could remedy my situation. I sent an email asking them to come out and assess the situation and give me a price to get my “Deal” professionally and accurately installed. Within 24 hours I had a return email and a scheduled appointment to come look at my situation. With in another 48 hours my generator was professionally installed at an unbelievably fair price. Following the last 'rolling blackout' power shortages here in Montgomery, I called Fish Electric to see about installing a back-up generator for my house and home office. Jim Fish came out the next day, did a careful investigation of our needs and wrote a proposal I could take to our POA. As soon as it was approved, a team of electricians Mike and Jerry, showed up and re-wired the house, installed the necessary hardware, advised on routing the gas line. Shortly, a truck showed up with the generator aboard and it was placed and wired up the same day. After showing me how to check the generator, Jim Fish called several times to make sure it was working as advertised.
When a glitch showed up in other generators of a similar type, Fish electricians showed up and did a preventive addition to mine and added a Hobbs meter so I could keep track of hours it ran.
I would heartily endorse anyone's use of this fine company for this or other electrical needs. They were swift, professional and left the area clean as a whistle.

Shortly after the Hurricane Rita and Wilma scares in Houston this year, I decided I was not going to live through another storm season without having some standby power solution at my home in Houston. I made some inquires and was referred by Waukesha-Pearce Industries to your firm. Your response to my interest in obtaining a quality, standby power solution was both professional and rapid. The installation went smoothly and your employees who did the work at the house were terrific, did a first rate installation in a professional manner. I now have a 30kW natural gas powered, liquid cooled Guardian Elite generator sitting on a custom 6” concrete pad behind my garage-out of sight and amazingly quiet. So quiet in fact, I cannot hear it when it goes through its weekly exercise cycle. Approximately 70% of my house circuits are now protected including two central air conditioners and air handlers, four refrigerator freezers and most of the electrical outlets and lighting on three floors.
I'm not wishing for the event that causes a loss of power, but I sure do have the assurance now that I will have the power needed in an emergency. Thank you so much for your assistance.

On Sunday our power was interrupted by a storm. I was actually excited that we experienced the power outage as it was the first time our standby generator was going to take over! Within 15 seconds, our home was being powered by our generator without us doing a thing…it is all automatic. My daughter could continue doing her homework with all the lighting she needed, we were comfortable and cool with the air conditioning units running, we could enjoy the golf tournament on our television, our family dog was taking his normal nap without disturbance and we continued to utilize all the items in our home that are powered by electricity. We can’t control a lot of things in our lives, but we can control the power to our homes with standby generators!
